Human beings are social creatures; in our day to day lives we are constantly meeting and interacting with people, and creating relationships with them. Fathers, mother, sibling, friend, lover, co-worker, subordinate – These are just a few examples of relationships which are common to people across the globe. While some of us are really good with maintaining these relationships, others are want for improvement. It is a fact that not all our relationships can be called successful, some might be disconcerting and dissatisfying while yet others could be downright disastrous. We all realize at some point in time that we need to review our own attitudes towards our relationships; while we might start out with noble intentions of bringing about positive change, we might not always succeed. An external intervention, something which can guide you through the trials and tribulations of a relationship can help a great deal. Hypnotherapy for relationships is one such intervention, and it has proven to be really effective time and time again.

Relationships are what our lives are made of, and happy relationships make for a happy and satisfied life. But this satisfaction eludes us frequently when we fail to carry through a relationship. Possessiveness, insecurity, communication barriers, ego hassles, overdependence, and infidelity are some of the problems which can arise in the relationships we share with other people. How could hypnotherapy for relationships help you address these issues? It all starts with a simple thought. By realizing that there is room for improvement in your relationship, you have already taken the first step towards making it better. Hypnotherapy for relationships basically targets the way you think, and your perception of other people. Why adopt Hypnotherapy for Sexual Issues?

Sex is an issue which is one of the most private and intimate things that a person could be concerned with. Most of us are hesitant and shy about talking to people about issues related to sex; and yet when directly faced with an issue related to sex, the reactions can be pretty baffling. From declining self esteem to absolute disbelief, a person suffering from sexual issues can go through a gamut of emotions. However, to understand the condition properly it is advisable to seek help; there are a number of counselors and therapists like me who would like to work with you to do away with your problems. However, I am a hypnotherapist and I use hypnotherapy for sexual issues to combat the problems which my clients face.

Seems unbelievable to you doesn’t it, that a therapist can use hypnotherapy for sexual issues? You wonder how it would work; there are a million doubts in your head while you consider the proposition of approaching a hypnotherapist for solutions to your sexual problems. Actually hypnotherapy for sexual issues is not all that bizarre; it is one of the safest methods you could adopt to address your problem. Hypnotherapy has been successfully implemented in cases related to a wide variety of sexual issues, including performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction, orgasmic dysfunction, low sex drive and frigidity amongst other problems.

What a hypnotherapist does, when you go to him to treat the sexual issues is, that he uncovers the hidden meaning behind your sexual problem. You need to first establish whether the problem you have is a physical one or a psychological one. Yes, you heard me right. Sexual issues more often than not are all related to the subconscious and are psychological in nature; triggered by some stray incident or happening. While undergoing hypnotherapy for sexual issues, you are made to introspect; you have to ask questions related to when, how and why the problems started; how did you feel when it happened and what steps you are willing to take. Sometimes sexual issues are related to anxiety and commitment phobia, apart from low confidence and self image. Hypnotherapy can help you overcome these problems.

If your problems are related to long harbored beliefs, low self image, anxiety, low confidence hypnotherapy for sexual issues can help you a great deal; it will make you identify the root cause and work towards removing it. Through hypnotherapy you can train your subconscious to let go of the negative emotions, it will also teach you to make peace with the unpleasant event in your life and see it as a catalyst for wizening up. Through auto suggestions and positive reinforcements, you work upon improving your self image and self worth; this in turn will help you realize what you truly deserve.

Hypnotherapy is all about relaxation and gaining confidence, and a bit of both in the bedroom, could be just the shot in the arm that you require to spice your life up!

Hypnosis Therapy – Controlling And Eliminating Bad Habits

The term hypnosis therapy is being increasingly heard nowadays. Contrary to what many people think hypnosis has nothing to do with black magic or anything supernatural. It is a trancelike state which can be also termed as a state of relaxed concentration. Anyone’s subconscious mind in this state would receive positive suggestions made by the person who is inducing the hypnotic state. This way several positive thoughts can be made to develop in the mind of a person. This in turn can help in treating as well as curing many a psychological problem.
Whenever hypnosis is used for therapeutic use it is known as hypnosis therapy. Hypnosis cannot be induced in any person without the active and total co operation on the part of the person who is to be hypnotized. It is therefore important that anyone who wants to undergo hypnosis therapy should be clear in the mind about wanting to accept the various commands of the therapist.
During the process of hypnosis therapy a trained hypnotist would be able to plant positive suggestions into the subconscious mind of the person being hypnotized. The subconscious mind is considered more powerful than the conscious mind. It also accepts suggestions more easily than the conscious mind. Any suggestion given to the subconscious mind stays for a long duration of time. This is the reason why suggestions are given to the subconscious mind during hypnosis therapy.
One of the most common problems that is treated using hypnosis therapy are addiction to cigarettes and alcohol. Using the method of hypnosis, powerful as well as positive suggestions about quitting these harmful habits can be given to the subconscious mind of the subjects being hypnotized. Millions of people around the world are in fact known to use this method in order to quit smoking nowadays.
This therapy has also been found extremely useful in treating several psychological conditions including anxiety, depression, phobias and fear. These days there is also the case of several people using the therapy in order to control the habit of excessive eating that leads to obesity. Clinical studies done by leading research scientists in this field indicate that this kind of therapy where in the subjects are hypnotized and positive suggestions given can also be used to reduce pain in patients suffering from diseases such as cancer. Historical references point out to such methods of treating several psychological conditions has been in existence for many centuries now. With such a wide range of benefits available from this therapy, it is not surprising that it is finding an increasing number of takers by the day.

Integrating Heart Centered Hypnotherapy

Heart Centered Hypnotherapy is a natural fit in complimenting many other healing modalities. In and of itself, it is a powerful method to release the energy that keeps us blocked in many self-defeating patterns in our lives. This includes relationships, work situations, family dynamics, money issues, negative thought patterns, depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, loneliness, addictions, and the list goes on and on. I say self-defeating because we end up attracting our unresolved issues over and over again until we release the energy from the source, or roots in childhood. Let me explain. When we are children we are in a different developmental state than we are as adults. Many times we look back at certain childhood events as being silly or of no consequence because as adults we are in a different developmental place. As a result we are not capable of feeling empathy for our own inner child because we just do not understand. A simple event in childhood can create trauma in the child’s eyes by eliciting fear, shame, guilt, and loneliness. Many other emotions spawn off from these but these are the four “biggy” dysfunctional emotions. Early events can get anchored in our neurotransmitters, which keep dumping the neuropeptides into our bodies that produce the same emotions and perceptions over and over again. In order to extinguish the dysfunctional emotions and change the results we need to release the energy and triggers from the original events in our childhoods so we can create a wider space where we can choose a healthier response and behavior. When we start doing this on a regular basis we start attracting different situations and people into our lives. The good news is that you are in total control during hypnotherapy and you will never do something you do not want to do or are not ready for. You are in control of your healing! I am just guiding and witnessing the process. This is where the other approaches to personal growth and change integrate nicely with Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. In order to truly change and heal our issues and negative patterns we need to approach our growth through mind, body, and spirit, or through our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves. One of the other methods I employ is soul retrieval work, usually done during hypnotherapy, which energetically brings back soul fragments we have lost along our life’s journey. I drum and take and guide patients on shamanic journeys to access their spirit guides and power animals so they can ask them questions and gain clarity on what direction to take to heal their problems. I also facilitate Heart Centered Breathwork which spontaneously regresses us back to childhood or to the birthing process to release old wounds and traumas that keep them stuck. I teach patients Holistic Integrative Breathing while I do a combination of energy work to release energy that no longer serves them. This helps restore balance and vitality to their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. I use body-centered psychotherapy at times which concentrates on the wisdom of the cellular memories in the patient’s body. And finally I specialize in Quantum Leap Coaching which facilitates changes in one’s negative or limiting thought systems. There are many other techniques that compliment hypnotherapy well. Some of these for the physical body are massage, chiropractic, nutritional, herbal, and mindfulness meditation to name a few. Other methods for releasing emotional issues and unwanted belief systems are Psych K, the Sedona Method, Byron Katie’s work, and the Essential Experience Workshop. With the mental and thought systems there are many different types of coaching that address and transform one’s thoughts along with James Ray seminars, and empowerment trainings. And, there are many different options to broaden your spiritual horizon whether it is Buddhism, Hinduism, A Course in Miracles, The Way of Mastery, Yoga, Tai Chi, Taoism, or organized religion. The important thing is Heart Centered Hypnotherapy integrates well with all these approaches. I work with people in many different ways to address all pieces of the human species puzzle – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Finally if I’m not able to provide what a person needs, I do my best to find specifically what they need and refer them to the appropriate practitioner, group, or seminar. Once again, there are no quick fixes, but hypnotherapy is a great place to start and build upon. The foundation allows for organic integration and enhancement of other methods to provide truly holistic healing. I’ve come to the conclusion from my three-year hypnotherapy internship that it’s one of the most integrative, effective, insightful, intense, and heartfelt approaches in which I’ve ever been trained. Be courageous, self-loving, and change your self-defeating patterns. You deserve to give yourself the gift of Heart Centered Hypnotherapy.

So What Exactly Is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a way of treatment through which a person will be able to bring desired changes in his habits or his way of behavior. Hypnotherapy is normally practiced by persons who have knowledge and training in the various techniques used in hypnotherapy. It can also be practiced by the subject himself by learning the basic techniques of hypnosis.
A person who has acquired proper training in hypnotherapy will be able to put the mind of his subject to a state called hypnosis. Hypnosis is a state of mind in which the person undergoing the therapy will become highly receptive to the suggestions made by the hypnotist.
Hypnotherapy always requires complete co operation from the part of the subject. Then only a hypnotist will be able to make any changes in the behavioral pattern of the subject as desired by the subject.
Hypnosis can be defined as a state of inner absorption. It requires extreme concentration and focused attention to make the treatment a success.
Hypnotherapy is a treatment by which we try to make our mind more concentrated and focused. Concentrating on a particular object will help us to strive for that using the maximum of our potential. Self hypnosis that does not require the assistance of trained hypnotist allows people to use maximum of their potential to achieve their goal.
Hypnotists normally use three main ways to hypnotize their subjects. The first method makes use of the power of imagination to bring the desired effect from the treatment. In this method of hypnosis, the subjects will be encouraged to imagine or dream about the things that they desire to achieve when they reach a hypnotic state of mind.
The second method of hypnotherapy uses the technique of delivering positive suggestions to the mind of the person when he attains his hypnosis. In hypnosis state of mind the subject will receive and act upon the suggestions made by the hypnotist.
The third method of hypnosis can be rightly explained as an unconscious exploration of the mind of the subject by the hypnotist. This method makes use of the techniques of hypnotherapy that help the hypnotist to explore or find out the experience or the past events that make the subject to act in a particular way. Once the root cause of the problem is identified, a trained person in hypnotherapy will be able to eradicate the problem from deep inside of the subject by using the suggestive technique of hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy and Personal Growth

Hypnotherapy is a form of hypnosis that is used for treating a variety of issues. Many clinicians have found that the use of hypnosis in addition to normal counseling therapy yields unbelievable results. Individuals that have the hypnotherapy as well as counseling reportedly have a more positive outlook much faster than others.
Hypnosis treatment has been used for treatment of anxiety, depression and other emotional disorders. The reason that hypnosis treatment is so effective is that it resolves the underlying issues that are causing the disorder. Sometimes through out life individuals have traumatic experiences or at minimum witness them.
These negative memories are stored within the mind and cause difficulties in different areas of life. Many do not even realize that the traumatic event may be inhibiting their success. With hypnotherapy they may uncover these negative thoughts that are causing negative emotions as well as behavior. With hypnotherapy these negative thoughts are replaced with positive scripts therefore eliminating the negative thoughts.
Hypnotherapy is commonly used for pain management. Whether it is chronic pain, short term pain or other types like surgery or child birth hypnotherapy can help. Hypnotherapy is very effective for teaching the individual to cope with the pain. This is completed by scripting in the unconscious mind that allows the body to relax and calm therefore easing the pain.
Most people become tense when they know that they are about to experience any type of pain, which can actually make it hurt worse. When individuals are able to relax, control their breathing and focus they are able to make the best of it. Not eliminating the pain, but making it more bearable is the goal of pain management hypnotherapy.
Clinical hypnosis is used to treat issues such as drug addiction or some other negative behavior. Clinical hypnosis works very close to the same way Cognitive Behavior Therapy does, only in the highly suggestive state of hypnosis. The hypnotherapist will introduce scripting that allows for the correct thoughts to replace irrational thoughts.
Though the body may become addicted to a substance the mind also comes to depend on the release from the substance. Making it a habit as well as the abused substance. Under hypnosis this habit can be replaced with something that is better for the individual and more productive. Cigarettes, drugs and other addictive behaviors have responded very well to clinical hypnosis as well as hypnotherapy.
There are many counselors that use traditional counseling only which works for some individuals. Those that use traditional counseling with hypnotherapy will pair the two allowing the individual to learn techniques that will help them cope.
There are many issues that surround addiction and emotional disorders. It is a wonderful idea to use both counseling and hypnotherapy in order to allow the patient to uncover underlying issues that may have been buried deep inside the subconscious for many years. A person can truly not be better until they resolve these issues.
Many use hypnotherapy to eliminate memories of bad times through childhood. It may be that they lived in an abusive household or lost a parent at an early age. Hypnotherapy can assist them with returning to the past as an on looker only to confront the situation.
It may be saying something that was never said or carrying out an action that they have regrets about not performing as a child. If death is something that the child was dealing with they may carry the baggage of not being able to say goodbye to the parent. Hypnotherapy can assist by allowing the individual to bring these thoughts to the front of the mind and lay it to rest. Though the memories or bad times will never be forgotten they can be put back in an appropriate place that allows the individual to have a productive life.
Hypnosis therapy is highly effective and used by many clinicians, doctors and other professionals all over the world. It can be used for a number of issues and is completely safe for the patient as well as the clinician. Hypnotherapy is more cost effective and has no negative side effects.
More information on the medical positives of hypnotherapy can be found in peer reviewed journals and in medical journals as well. That way you can view what medical science has deemed one of the best treatments available for yourself.
